Activity Details Have a sensational experience as you soar through the sky in a microlight This is your chance to be introduced to the world of flying. Experience the thrill of being sky high and controlling a light aircraft. You will be joined by an experienced pilot who lives and loves flying. It will feel like you are in another world as you see Lancashire from this unique, amazing perspective. This experience will be a period of pure magic that will remain a treasured memory forever! Upon arrival at the aerodrome you will meet your instructor. You will have a briefing with your pilot who will run through some of the controls of the microlight and explain what will happen once in the air. All the instructors at the centre are passionate about flying and are keen to pass on their knowledge of this sport so are more than happy to answer any questions. Once the instructor has taxied you to the runaway and taken off you can take control and fly the microlight. You can be in control for as little or as much of the lesson as you are comfortable with, it is completely up to you. Control must be passed to the instructor to land the aircraft. You will have a total flight time of 60 minutes.

Important Information and Restrictions On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months for one person. Lessons run from sunrise to sunset. The minimum age for flying is 10 years old however anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Friends and family are welcome to come along to watch and take pictures. Maximum weight is 16 stone. No previous flight experience is needed. The flight is subject to availability and dependent on the weather, it is recommended that you call the school on your flying day to check it is safe to fly.
