An excellent hands-on experience lets you take to the skies in the "sports car of the air"!
This is an excellent opportunity to fly in an Ikarus C42 above Scotland. Whilst airborne you can appreciate some of the famous sites of Strathaven including the Battlements of Bothwell Castle. This is a sensational experience which allows you to appreciate some beautiful scenery as well as fly an incredible aircraft.
You will meet your instructor for the flight, prior to which he will give you a safety briefing and a run-through of the aircraft controls. Then take to the skies and fly over the beautiful Strathaven countryside - a perfect opportunity to take some excellent aerial photographs. If you want to get more involved, the pilot can pass the controls to you so that you can have a go at flying the craft yourself.

Information and Restrictions
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months for one person. The maximum weight for the experience is 14 stone. Minimum age for flying is 14 years old, however anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No previous experience is necessary. The experience is subject to availability and weather conditions on the day, and so clients are advised to phone the morning of the lesson to check if it is safe to fly.
