Enjoy a day with some magnificent birds in the beautiful Devon countryside
Your experience will take place in a glorious National Park where the scenery is simply stunning; this gives you a perfect environment for an exciting day with the raptors. You will handle and fly owls as well as watch large birds of prey get put through their paces. During the day you will go on a walk with Harris Hawks where you will watch the birds fly as a team. This day will give you a deep insight into the marvellous world of falconry.
Your experience starts with a short introduction where you can meet the trainers and some of the birds. You will then handle and fly some of the owls as well as watch and learn about other large birds of prey as they are shown. After a light lunch (which is provided) you will go on a walk with Harris Hawks. There will be plenty of time to take any pictures to capture this memorable day and ask the staff all the questions you have about falconry. As a guide your experience will last for 6-7 hours.

Information and Restrictions
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months. All equipment will be provided for your experience, but it is advisable to bring a pair of wellington boots with you and wear suitable outdoor clothing for the time of year. Please note that the species of bird flown will be dependent on the time of year. Participants must be aged 16 years and over.
