Spend half a day flying and handling magnificent birds of prey!
This raptor centre has the biggest collection of birds of prey in the North West during your half day course you will have the opportunity to interact with these magnificent birds up close. You will be taught the basics of handling and flying the birds and you will go on a hawk walk in the next door countryside. All the birds on show will display their natural instincts to soar, quarter, pounce and mantle.
Your experience starts with an informative tour of the centre where you will see the variety of birds of prey close up and learn all about their different characteristics, speed capabilities and hunting habits. After that, you will be taught the basics of handling and flying the birds and you will have the chance to fly some of them to the fist under the watchful eye of the trainer. You will take a group of birds on a hawk walk and finally there will be plenty of photo opportunities to capture a truly unforgettable experience. You will be at there for approximately 3 hours in total.

Information and Restrictions

All equipment will be provided for your experience, but it is advisable to bring a pair of wellington boots with you and wear suitable outdoor clothing for the time of year.
