Did you ever watch 'On the Buses' and wonder what it would be like controlling one of these awesome beasts of the road? Well here's your chance to experience a double decker bus, in this unique driving session.
You will learn how to manoeuvre a double decker bus safely around a pre-defined course with an experienced instructor by your side. This giant activity will give you an insight into what it's like to get on the buses! The short wheel base and long overhang takes a bit of getting used to, especially when manoeuvring into coned garages, pulling out of T-junctions and circumnavigating roundabouts. Can you stop accurately at the bus stop?. Changing gear smoothly, with the fluid clutch is easy going up the gears, but going down? Easy if you know how to double the clutch. Up to 73 seats fro your friends and family to join you.
Group Size: Tuition is on a one-to-one basis. You will spend 45 minutes at the wheel of the double decker bus.

This experience is available on selected weekdays and weekends, throughout the year.
You must be fit and able bodied to participate in this activity. The maximum weight is 114kg (18 stone). The maximum height is 1.93m (6ft 4") and the minimum height is 1.57m (5ft 2"). The minimum age is 17 years old. A full, valid UK or European driving licence must be brought, and shown on the day.
