What does the activity include? After arrival and registration you will receive a guided tour of the centre. You will then receive expert instruction on handling and flying these magnificent eagles before you move out to the countryside to fly the eagles in their natural environment, returning to the centre at about 4.30pm where the falconers will answer any questions you may have. This is a very specialised day and numbers are strictly limited.

What should I wear? As this activity will be mostly outdoors, we suggest you wear comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for the weather conditions and a pair of strong walking boots or wellingtons if possible.
How long should I allow for this experience? You should allow a full day for this experience.
When does the activity take place? The activity takes place all year round but spring and autumn are ideal seasons for falconry as the temperatures are perfect for the birds in these months.
Are there any restrictions? Minimum age for Eagle Handling course is 18 years. No dogs are allowed at the centre.
What about the weather? If the weather is cause for cancellation then an alternative date will be offered to you.
Can I bring spectators? Spectators are welcome but there may be a charge depending on location. Please note that at the Kent and Nottingham locations only 1 spectator per voucher holder is permitted.
What else do I need to know? Wheelchair access and facilities for the disabled are available. Lunch and light refreshments are included.
