These fantastic sporting academies offer boys and girls of all abilities the opportunity to develop either their soccer, rugby or cricket skills and knowledge under the tutelage of expert coaches. The Academies are about enjoyment and learning in a safe and challenging environment.
This is a one day taster session and you will be attending one of the three day Sporting Star Academies so depending on what day you go you may have the opportunity to meet and train alongside your sporting hero. You will also receive an academy T-shirt.
Academies include: Football (Age 4 - 14 year olds) - DAVID PLATT (Former England Captain and one of the most respected stars in football) - Kingston-upon-thames; Cambridgeshire; Wrexham; SW London; Birmingham; Nottingham; Manchester; Liverpool; Durham.
Rugby (Age 7 - 16 year old) - PAUL SACKEY (England´s top try scorer at the 2007 Rugby World Cup and the second highest all time try scorer in the Premiership) - Cheam; High Wycombe; Oxford; Dulwich; Newquay; Bristol; Birmingham. GARETH THOMAS (Wales and British Lions captain and Wales' most capped player of all time) - Wrexham; Bangor; Newtown; Aberystwyth; Swansea; Newport; Glamorgan; Llandudno. MIKE BLAIR (Cited as one of Scotland's most promising players he plays professional rugby union for Edinburgh and has 48 caps for Scotland) - Edinburgh; Aberdeen; Stirling. BRIAN O'DRISCOLL (Ireland and British Lions captain and the Irish leading try scorer of all time) - Dublin.
Cricket (Age 6 - 16 year old) - STUART BROAD (At 20 years old he is billed to be one of England's finest players)
We recommend you book as far in advance as possible to secure the date and location you want. Also, if you want to guarantee meeting your sporting hero then we recommend you book onto the three day academy.
Group Size: There will be other participants at the academies. This academy is for one day.

Information and Restrictions
This experience is available on selected dates in school holidays, throughout the year.
You will need a general fitness ability to participate in the training sessions. The minimum age depends on the selected sport. You do not require any qualifications.
