A great course for beginners who are looking for an introduction to this amazing sport.
This comprehensive two day course provides an introduction to sail cruising for complete beginners. You will cover essential aspects of beginners sailing such as tying knots, steering under power, and sailing on all points of sail. You will also learn how to use winches, how to obtain weather forecasts, and learn what to do when a man is overboard! All accommodation is on board the yacht.
This itinerary is a guide only, actual timings will depend on weather, crew competencies etc.
Friday 7pm - Board your yacht and meet the rest of the crew. Evening meal ashore.
7am Saturday - Breakfast and head out to sea
6pm - Arrive at Marina for evening meal.
Sunday 7am - Breakfast and return cruise
Sunday 5pm - Arrive back at base.

Information and Restrictions
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. You are then free to contact the operator to book a date for your experience. Please note that this experience lasts two days and two nights. Available on weekends (depart Friday, return Sunday). All accommodation on board is in shared cabins. Hot showers and toilets are available on board. Your skipper will make stops at marinas en route where additional facilities are available. Breakfasts and lunches are included in the cost of your experience but you will be ashore for evening meals at your own expense. Those with specific dietary requirements may wish to bring their own additional/alternative provisions. Voucher pricing is based on a high season (May - Sept) booking and no refunds are possible for bookings made at other times of the year. Additional items such as insurance and waterproof hire (if required) need to be paid for at point of booking.
