Everybody who has ever flown in a Tiger Moth has fallen in love with it' - Roald Dahl, Going Solo. Nothing compares with flying over the English countryside in a Tiger Moth. Wearing goggles and leather flying jacket and sitting in the authentic cockpit it could be a summer's day in 1932 as you enjoy this perfect blend of fun and nostalgia.
Your activity begins with a pre-flight briefing on the effects of controls. Then you put on your flying jacket, helmet and goggles, and are strapped into the cockpit. After someone has swung the propeller, your instructor taxies out to the runway threshold, applies full power, and your flight of pure nostalgia begins. You will have the chance to take the controls as you fly gently over the rolling English countryside. This will be a flight to remember for many years!
Your experience will be one to one with an Instructor/ Pilot Your flight will last around 30 minutes but you'll be at the venue for around 1 hour.

Information and Restrictions
This experience runs on selected Wednesday to Sunday dates, all year but mainly April to September.
The maximum weight is 114kg (18 stone), the maximum height is 1.93m (6ft 4). You must be fit without no heart problems, agile as embarking and disembarking is difficult and requires flexibility. This may not be suitable for pregnant women. To participate in this activity you must be at least 14 years old. No previous experience or qualifications are required to take part in this activity.
