This experience offers a great combination of relaxation, interest and hands-on fun at the Wedgewood Visitor Centre. At the Wedgewood Factory in Staffordshire.
Your experience includes a self- guided tour of the centre, where you can learn all about Josiah Wedgwood and his company, see some rare museum pieces and watch the mastercraftspeople at work. Next, enjoy a two course lunch (served on Wedgwood china of course!). Then it's time to get your hands dirty - literally! Helped by a master craftsperson you'll throw a pot or paint a plate. When you've finished, Wedgwood will fire your pot and post it to your home, where it can take pride of place on your mantelpiece. You'll also receive a privilege card for future admissions and 10% shopping discount on the day.
Please Note: - There is no factory tour at weekends.
You are welcome to stay on until the centre closes at 5pm.
Group Size: Numbers on the day will vary as the centre is open to the public. Your tour lasts a minimum of 2 hours.

This experience is available on selected midweek days and weekends, throughout the year.
There are no fitness requirements for this activity. There is no minimum age but under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult. There are no qualifications or experience required for this activity.
