Hang on for a thrill ride that will simply make you laugh your socks off!
Experience is everything…..just imagine for a moment…you hold on tight as the awesome power of an amazing catamaran accelerates you across the water….you hold on even tighter and laugh or scream as this unbelievable machine throws you into a 3G turn - you're spinning on a sixpence and then, as the speed increases you feel the breathtaking pull - you hit the surf and you're airborne! This is the thrill of a zapcat!
When you arrive you will be given a safety briefing and kitted out with a
dry suit and boots. The action begins with a speedy trip out of the bay by the RIB. Then it's on to the main event, the Zapcat. These twin hulled light weight catamarans, designed originally for surf rescue have been redesigned
for short course offshore powerboat racing. All of the zapcats are the race ready versions capable of pulling in excess of 2G in a turn; with a power to weight ratio of 340 bhp per tonne. The acceleration is explosive so hang
on tight!
Then it's a high speed RIB ride to Cowes on the Isle of Wight for an excellent pub lunch.
In the afternoon enjoy the thrill of zapcat relays and time trials to establish the top performers on the day.
Other options
An ultimate power boat challenge spending the day as a pilot and co-pilot pulling 3G turns around a very tight course on the Zapcats, ride a 225HP 10.5m High-Powered RIB and drive racing against the clock on a Honda BF150. Sheer high speed entertainment!
