Escape the urban jungle and head for Whipsnade for the perfect family day out
Escape on an adventure across acres of beautiful English countryside with fantastic views across the Chiltern Downs in one of Europe’s largest conservation areas and watch lions, tigers, elephants, hippos and giraffes out and about in huge outdoor enclosures. Check out our regular demonstrations featuring elephants, sea lions and birds of prey. New for 2008 is Cheetah Rock, a fantastic exhibit which will bring visitors up close to the fastest land animals and has interactive features that will give visitors the chance to learn more about cheetahs and the conservation work ZSL carries out in Tanzania.
On arrival you are free to explore the park for as long as you want and enjoy the many different habitats and animals on display. There are free daily demonstrations such as feedings, falconry displays and the unique chance to get up close and personal with some of the park’s residents.

Information and Restrictions
On purchasing this ticket you will be able to print a voucher valid for entry to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo on the date that you specify when purchasing. This ticket may only be used on the date booked. The Zoo is open every day except Christmas Day from 10am. Every penny you spend at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo goes towards both the care of the animals and The Zoological Society of London’s many global conservation projects. Child tickets for ages 3-15 years; adult tickets for over 15s and under 3s go free. These tickets include fast-track entry to the Zoo. These tickets are non refundable and non exchangeable; they also may not be extended. The last date of this offer is 4th November 2008.
