Glider Flights (with winch launch) - £59 Let us introduce you to this absorbing sport at some of the top clubs in the country. It's a fantastic chance to experience the excitement of powerless flight and to take in the wonderful scenery unfolding below you. After a pre-flight briefing, you will be strapped into the glider with your instructor. The glider is attached to a winch by a cable, and in a few moments you will be airborne! Once the cable is released you will search out some thermals and then gently glide back down to earth.

Gliding Discovery Flight - £95 Feel your spirits soar as you glide effortlessly through the sky. Try gliding and experience the extraordinary sensations of speed and silence that come from flying in one of these spectacular and graceful craft. Your trial lesson will last between 15 and 30 minutes depending on the weather conditions in which time you will learn how to turn and manoeuvre the glider and perhaps even have a go at taking the controls yourself.

Aerotow Gliding Lesson - £95 Take to the skies for an unforgettable flight and experience the total tranquillity of soaring and circling on the thermals. Experience the total tranquillity of soaring and circling on the thermals, drifting silently on the wind in a dual control glider. After a short briefing from your British Gliding Association instructor, it's time to take to the skies for an unforgettable flight. You'll take the controls during your flight, and if you get hooked, this first lesson counts towards a Glider Pilot's certificate.

Glider Flights (with aerotow launch) - £99 After your first flight you'll be hooked on this superb sport. Why? It's much more challenging than powered flight - you need a lot of skill to keep a glider airborne - knowing how to recognise lift (rising air), where to find it and how to use it. But it's also great fun - effectively you become just like a bird - you often rise up in thermals alongside birds! You will be towed into the air by a powered aircraft.

The lessons will last between 5 and 20 minutes in which time you will learn to turn and manoeuvre the glider. (4 Winch launch lessons)

Depending on the location and availability, you can either have your 3 flights (although the precise number will depend on weather and other conditions) one after the other or you can space them out over the day, which ever option you decide upon you will be able to spend the rest of the day seeing other aspects of a gliding club - helping with the launches etc.
