Mini Moto Racing Experience - £35 If you have never seen mini moto racing before, be prepared for the wackiest motorsport on earth. Mini moto is great fun for both children and adults alike and if mini motos were good enough to help world MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi get started in racing there must be something in them! You'll be testing one of the fabulous Polini engined GRC RR Mini Moto Pocket Bikes on a specially prepared track where you will get two 12 minute sessions, with a 15 minute break in-between. Yamaha Motocross Experience (full day) - £199 If you've ever been thrilled by the antics of Motocross champions on TV, or just fancied learning an exciting new sport, the explosive excitement of Motocross will take your breath away. On this excellent course you can try your hand at Motocross, trail and endurance bikes. One thing's for certain: you won't believe what you can accomplish! When you arrive you will sign on and you will be given a safety briefing. There will then be time for you to change into your riding kit, before heading out onto the course. There you will be given basic introductions and instructions, and you will spend the morning riding (with your instructor on hand) until lunchtime. After lunch there will be more riding time, where you will be given the chance to improve your skills and progress to greater challenges. The bikes you will ride are all regularly serviced, modern Yamaha's. They currently include the Yamaha WR250cc and WR450cc four stroke Enduros and (depending on weather conditions and ability) a selection of the ultimate Motocross competition machines, the YZ range. Day with Harley-Davidson Experience - £199 Learn to drive the ultimate dream motorbike! A Day with Harley-Davidson begins at 9.30am and concludes at 4.30pm. Non-licence holders may do one of two things: 1. Enjoy a full day's pillion ride with one of our instructors. 2. Spend time on our specialist learner training bikes with the goal (skills and safety permitting) of riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on our private road network before the day is over. For experienced riders, the day will start by you selecting the bikes you wish to ride from the current model range. After a short informal safety briefing, you will be equipped with the finest Harley-Davidson motor clothes, ready for the action to begin. Initially, you will ride on the private road network to ensure that you are fully accustomed to the bikes before heading out onto the open road. The roads surrounding the academy are some of the best roads to be found in the UK for riding motorcycles. On your way you may encounter the spectacular scenery of the Elan Valley, cross the mighty Brecon Beacons or cruise along the coastal road enjoying the British 'Highway One'. At different points during the day, you will have the opportunity to exchange bikes amongst the group so that you really do get to enjoy a wide range of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Learn to Wheelie with a Professional Stunt Rider - £229 You're never too old to learn to become a stunt driver. You will utilise one of the school's 600cc Suzuki Bandits, which are fitted with a unique safety device which prevents the bike from tipping too far backwards once the front wheel is off the ground. With an emphasis on clutch control, rather than excessive use of engine revs, you will be taught not only the best method of getting the front wheel into the air but also how to get it there smoothly and to maintain control throughout the manoeuvre.
