After a few hours, you might just feel like one of the international jet set. This full day programme will leave you breathless with excitement. Here is your unique chance to race single-seater monohulls, catamarans and hydroplanes. Nothing else gives you such a feeling of mastery over the water. You will have the chance of learning from the experts how to drive three types of race boat, hydroplanes, catamarans and monohulls. They are all single seaters with no radio control to the bank. In the hydroplanes you either kneel or lie flat on your stomach! The day will start at 9:00 with registration and tea and coffee. At 09.30 you will be officially welcomed, given a drivers briefing and introduction to the sport. Between 10:00 and 11:00 there will be an introduction to the boats, followed by practice driving until a buffet lunch at 1:00pm. From 2:00 - 5:00pm you will have practical race training, ending with afternoon tea, presentation of certificates and a memento of the day. During the day you are likely to do a total of 20+ laps, with each lap being just under a mile in length so you will cover quite a distance!
