BMW M3 Thrill - £89 BMW's 'M' division first started in 1978 when first official M-badged car, the M1, went on sale to the public. It didn't start well but it got the name 'M' out there. Popularity exploded in 1979 with the release of the M5, which was a high performance version of BMW's popular 5 Series mid-size saloon car. Since then, all high performance saloons have been judged against BMW's 'M' cars and the BMW M3 is one of the best of the breed. The M3 has a 3.2 litre engine putting out 343 bhp.
