Wicked Liquid, Coasteering Weekend in Wales Wicked Liquid, Coasteering Weekend in Wales - £209

Experience coasteering, a unique and exciting adventure activity, in the beautiful unspoilt countryside and coastline of the Pembrokeshire coastal National Park with this weekend of fun and relaxation ! What is coasteering?
Coasteering originated in the late 19th century when early climbing pioneers traversed rocky sea cliffs - in the 21st century it's proving to be THE ultimate coastal adventure !

Kitted up in a wetsuit, helmet, buoyancy aid and a stout pair of trainers you get the chance to explore the coastal National Park at sea level - you'll find yourself swimming into sea caves, climbing up through natural rock arches, flinging yourself from towering vertical rock faces, and perhaps even swimming with Atlantic grey seals!

Whether the sea is flat calm and reflecting the suns rays like a mirror, or raging and boiling as the waves pound the cliffs base, a superb coasteer can be guaranteed, with the emphasis on cliff jumping, wave dodging and rock traversing shifting according to the conditions; no two coasteers are ever the same.

So, if you've been there, done that, with white water rafting and bungee jumping - you'll find coasteering the Pembrokeshire coastline provides a new and refreshing slant on adventure!

What happens on a wicked liquid break?
In the course of your 2 day break our fully qualified instructors will help you boldly go where you have never been before! You will take 2 coasteering sessions at 2 different venues.

Your third activity will be a COASTAL HIKE.
We've got the world renowned National Park Coastal Path on the very Western tip of Europe right on our doorstep. Unwind amidst the spectacular cliff top scenery and chill out amongst the wild flowers - it's the perfect accompaniment to the adrenalin charged adventure activities.

If you know that you'll be chomping at the bit for more adventure you might like to swap the hike for another adventure activity, why not try surfing, mountain biking or sea kayaking? Then again, you might relish the chance to slow down, chill, and take things at your own pace!

ACCOMMODATION
Our accommodation consists of a spacious lodge, awarded a 3* by the Wales Tourist Board, sleeping up to 30 people. It is set in 3 acres of land; a beautiful location with just a 1 mile walk through National Trust woodland to our local beach which is stunning, unspoilt, and a place where seals sometimes sleep. Saturday night:
Delicious home cooked dinner here rounded off with drinks at the bar, or a visit to our friendly local village pub. Or maybe you’d like a moonlit walk through the woods and a frolic on our quiet secluded beach, or beers around a blazing bonfire in our sheltered garden? Whatever you choose, after a hard day out enjoying yourself with mother nature, your body will have no option other than the “sleep of the deep”..

Sunday: One more activity, we recommend:
HIKING
Hike along the famous Pembrokeshire Coast path. Unwind amongst dramatic scenery, walk cliff top trails, and chill out amongst the wild flowers - the perfect end to a weekend of hard partying. Alternatively you could try an exhilarating jet boat ride round 'Ramsey' a local offshore island - or you might just want to take it easy at the lodge this morning!

Whatever you decide to do, you'll come back to the Lodge for lunch, a quick look at the papers, showers and pack-up. Depart Sunday afternoon.

ACCOMMODATION
You’ll be staying in our Eco Adventure-Lodge. This five star adventure centre is set in three acres of land; a beautiful location with just a one mile walk through National Trust woodland to the local beach which is stunning, unspoilt, and a place where seals sometimes sleep. The lodge is kept warm and cosy year round; the comfy lounge has a picture window with an inspirational view, under-floor heating courtesy of our ground source heat pump, and is equipped with a delightful wood burning stove – ideal for experiencing that ‘post adventure’ glow!

We serve tasty meals, and tea, coffee and cold drinks are available to help yourself to at all times. Our food is home cooked, wholesome and delicious, and special diets are happily catered for.
